International Press Card Credentials
International Press Card Credentials

WireNews, founded in April 2001, by a small group of journalists, offers an internationally recognised press credential.

Initially, reserved only for accredited journalists, WireNews has now expanded its credential scheme to allow reputable citizen journalists and bloggers to apply for its Internationally recognized press card.

WireNews charges just £150 per year for its physical press card, far less than Union dues or most of the plastic cards available on the Internet.

The price includes a plastic card holder, lanyard and a Digital Press Card that lives on your iPhone or Android smartphone.

With more than 350,000 registered journalists, WireNews journalists collectively represent a huge cross-section of mainstream media, newspaper journalists, photojournalists, and now citizen journalists.
